About Somcan S3

Somcan S3 is a Rewards Management System that allows distributors to re-sell a turn-key, web based Incentive Program allowing the Distributors clients to offer Incentive/Reward programs to their employees, customers or any 'user'.

The program allows the Companies Users to log in to a points based catalogue and redeem their points for products.

The program is designed as a complete package that lets Companies offer a redemption program without the hassle of sourcing products, maintaining a hosting solution, web site or products and contracting a developer to create the system.

Program Types & Ideas

There are an infinite number of uses for Somcan's RMS solution. The basic rule of thumb is if a Company wishes to recognize their employee's actions by assigning a value to an action they can use Somcan S3 to reward their employees.

Some examples of program types are:

  • Years of Service where the longer an employee serves the more points they get and thus the more expensive products they qualify to buy. The Administration Panel can track users based on their employment length, alerts managers on an Employees anniversary and can even assign points.
  • Safety Programs. If a company wishes to increase awareness and the safety of their employees they can offer points for safe practices, alerting managers to unsafe conditions as well as for being safe for set periods of time. Employees can also recommend other employees get points if they observe them doing something safe.
  • Performance based programs allow users to be rewarded if they reach certain goals.
    • Customer Service. If a rep gets X number of positive reviews.
    • Call Centre. Employees are rewarded if the maintain a desired level of stats.
    • Sales. If a salesperson reaches or maintains a certain number of sales/contact etc they can be rewarded points.
    • Administrative Employees can be offered points if they receive positive reviews from management or are recognized by other employees.
  • Customer Loyalty. Using systems already in place customer activity can be tracked and the resulting points earned can be uploaded into the Somcan system allowing the customers to redeem their points for products.
  • Incentives and rewards can be altered to encourage positive behaviors on an employee's part and these can be fluid or set. For example X points can be rewarded to an employee if they work over time. These extend work hours can be tracked via the RMS panel and points can be rewarded after a certain threshold has been reached.
  • In addition to whatever scenario is used as the main trigger for points companies can further augment their program with add-ins such as an Online Survey, Employee 2 Employee Recognition, Commissions/Hours worked or any other custom solution that may be needed.

What Does Somcan S3 Do?

  • Provide a customizable landing page that gives user's access to the Rewards Catalogue. The landing page can be a simple redirect or it can be used as a 'mini' website that provides a login/link to the Catalogue, program specific information, links to other content and sites.
  • Provide a web based Catalogue that allows users to login and redeem their points for product.
  • This catalogue and the landing page is customized to match the clients current web presence or to reflect a specific program type or client idea.
  • The Rewards Catalogue consists of six pages that allow the user to shop for product, manage their account information such as address, a cart to manage, order and track desired items, an order page to view their current orders status’, and contact page to request help or place comments and a help page to answer their frequently asked questions.
  • The main Catalogue page allows users to view their cart, points balance, search for product using the search form and add items to their cart for later confirmation.
  • The second most important page is the Cart. This shows user’s product that they have selected to purchase and allows them to remove, update quantities and confirm items. Once confirmed it ensure there is a Ship-to address and allows the user to update this accordingly.
  • In addition to the public page an Administration or RMS site is supplied to allow the End User Company to manage their users, products, general settings, add functionality via plug-ins, view usage from a variety of reports and track orders in the system.
  • The same Administration interface is available to Distributors for each of their resold programs. This interface however has more advanced functionality and allows them to export orders to us electronically. The can also add and edit their own products, site content, plug-ins etc.
