Crafted from a lightweight and high strength aluminum that's precision milled, it unites the critical components of the driver head into a singular force. Forming a driver built for forgiveness and power, designed to give you the confidence to take on any tee shot.

Higher Launch, Higher MOI: We've journeyed beyond tradition to bring you power, speed and forgiveness in a single driver. The reconstructed SIM2 Max delivers high MOI with a heavy 24g tungsten weight positioned on the Inertia Generator. The TPS Front Weight is strategically located on the sole of the club to encourage optimal launch and spin properties, delivering complete performance and max forgiveness.

Shaped for Aero: Building on the breakthrough performance of Shape In Motion, SIM2 Max features an all-new Inertia Generator formed by its 9-layer carbon sole. The lightweight panel is strategically angled to improve aerodynamics at the most critical phase of the swing for faster clubhead speeds.

The Face of Speed & Forgiveness: The milled back face cup works in unison with a new toe-side Speed Injection Port to push ball speeds to the threshold of the maximum legal limit. The iconic Speed Pocket protects performance on shots struck low on the face, while Twist Face continues to help golfers find more fairways.

Forged Ring Construction: Forged from a lightweight and high strength aluminum that is milled to an exacting shape, Forged Ring Construction unites a massive rear weight, a full carbon sole, crown and a new milled back cup face. Creating a confidence-inspiring driver designed for increased stability and forgiveness.

SIM Inertia Generator: The asymmetric Inertia Generator is designed to provide faster club head speed through advanced geometry and aerodynamic analytics. A full lightweight carbon sole enables the redistribution of mass for a deeper CG and enhanced forgiveness.

Speed Injected Twist Face: Speed Injected Twist Face improves ball speed by calibrating each head to the threshold of the legal speed limit with corrective face curvature also protecting against heel and toe mis-hits.

Thru-Slot Speed Pocket: Our most flexible Speed Pocket design is engineered to maximize ball speeds and produce additional forgiveness on low face strikes.

Split Mass Weighting: Featuring a TPS weight on the sole of the club, this design element promotes enhanced forgiveness while allowing for precise target swing weights during custom assembly.

The second largest manufacturer of golf clubs in the United States, Taylor Made Golf Co. designs and markets a complete line of clubs for men, women, and children, as well as golf accessories and golf bags. Taylor Made scored its initial success with its first product, metal drivers, which debuted in 1979 and subsequently dominated the golf market. With its focus on research and development and aggressive marketing, the company grew to be the second largest U.S. golf manufacturer by the mid-1990s, a ranking attained because of the popularity of its Burner Bubble drivers, introduced in 1995. TaylorMade now welcomes Tiger Woods to the family!

In the spring of 1979 a golf equipment salesman named Gary Adams took out a $24,000 loan on his home and founded the TaylorMade Golf Company. He rented a 6,000 square-foot building that at one time housed a television assembly plant. Counting him, there were three employees and a single, innovative product: a 12-degree driver cast of stainless steel. This new metalwood looked and sounded different from a wooden wood, and most important, it performed differently. The clubhead's perimeter-weighting offered greater forgiveness on mis-hits, while the lower center of gravity made it easier to launch the ball in the air. Adams, the son of a golf professional, was adamant that TaylorMade clubs maintain ties to what true golfers perceived an authentic golf club should look and feel like. They were committed to combining innovation with authenticity, to always be passionate about the game, and pledged to be competitive - to work hard to establish itself and grow. These four tenets would take them far.

The same values singled out 30 years ago by Gary Adams are still revered and practiced today at TaylorMade as we continue to deliver products that help players of all skill levels reach their potential.
